Networking & Business Meeting
Meetings Meetings are generally held on the fourth Tuesday of every month unless otherwise noted on the home page and in the monthly emails. We meet at the Gold Canyon Community Church, 5810 S. Alameda Rd., at the corner of Kings Ranch Rd., (the former location for Gold Canyon Elementary School). Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. the General Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. This is an open meeting, all are welcome! Food is usually provided for attendees as they network with fellow members, prospective members and other interested community members. We offer guest speakers at most of the meetings in order to inform, advise and support the membership. At least once a year we host a round table discussion with experts in various areas of economic development.	January 24, 2012 Meeting Minutes *CALL TO ORDER:* President, Tim Pettigrew *BOARD ATTENDING:* Tim Pettigrew, Chris Bukovac, Patti Pier and Jean Buckborough *PLEDGE OF ALLIGINANCE* TREASURER REPORT: Reported by Tim Pettigrew GUEST SPEAKER: Sandie Smith, President and CEO Pinal Partnership ANNOUCEMENTS: Looking Back 2011, Tim gave a reports of the years experiences, accomplishments and thanked many for their help. Michael Balbarin, Treasurer resigned due to increased business and family obligations. Pam Burks announced the MountainBrook Village Business Fair on March 29, 2012 from (:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 43 spaces are available for $25 rental and donation of $25 in products or services to use as door prizes. Supervisor Bryan Martyn announced that he will not be seeking re-election due to family commitments. John Enright is undergoing treatment for maxiofacial cancer but vows that this will not prohibit him from running for the Supervisor position. The 50/50 drawing was won by Sandie Smith which she in turn donated back tot he association. Chris Bukovac was elected to a board position at the meeting for a three year term.
